Help us help students learn to read

Lily is a bright, creative, young lady in 4th grade. She is very active and used to love school. The light she has for school is starting to dim because she struggles with reading. While her classmates are reading popular chapter books and going on adventures with the characters in their stories, Lily sits in the corner with her book. She is still reading books at the 2nd-grade level because she has dyslexia. She hasn't been given the right, research-based, and scientifically proven instruction to give her the skills she needs to read among her peers. Due to her dyslexia and difficulty with processing language, her interest in school is lessening and so is her confidence.

While Lily is struggling to read, her family is struggling with finances this year. The family has been impacted by COVID-19 and needs financial support to provide tutoring services to Lily.
