"We appreciate everything Dyslexia Reading Connection did in helping my son become a better reader."

Dyslexia Reading Connection, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization devoted to helping students and adults who have dyslexia or are demonstrating common warning signs of dyslexia.

IMPROVING READING LITERACY IN THE FOX VALLEY AREA AND MORE BY PROVIDING:

Community education: Through meetings, presentations, and training sessions, DRC educates parents, teachers, and others in the community about dyslexia. Every teacher needs to understand dyslexia; every school needs a program specifically designed to teach dyslexic children in a way that enables them to learn to read and spell confidently.

Consultations: We provide free consultations to parents who have a child with reading literacy, or math competency struggles. These 60-90 minute sessions seek to learn about the child’s struggle, educate the parent on what dyslexia is and how it impacts a child, and provide information on the only type of programs scientifically proven to achieve results.

Screening for Dyslexia: Our Dyslexia Screeners are highly trained, experienced, screeners who can determine with a high degree of confidence if your child fits the profile of someone with dyslexia.

Private, one-on-one reading and spelling instruction: Our tutors are carefully trained in the Barton Reading and Spelling System and Foundation in Sounds (FnS) programs.
